This week's programme begins with Steve Hackett, one time member of Genesis - The British progressive rock group, playing a Bach cello piece on the guitar. After that we will have two Hungarian Dances by Brahms - arranged for the piano. Two songs from the opera next - Placido Domingo as Figaro in the Barber of Seville, and the final trio from Die RosenKavalier. An Octet by Schubert and two pieces by contemporary composer Caroline Shaw follow on. The programme finishes with some lute music and part of a Brahms string quartet.
